Open House Days
Institute of Art History is once again opening its doors to the public in Zagreb and Split, offering an overview of its work through a series of lectures. The programme begins in Zagreb on 6 and 7 May 2025 at the headquarters of the Institute of Art History (Ulica grada Vukovara 68/III, Zagreb), and concludes with a one-day event in Split on 16 May 2025 at the Old City Hall (Narodni trg, Split).
We have prepared a diverse programme aimed at bringing the Institute’s research in the fields of art history, architecture, urban planning, and visual culture closer to a wider audience. On this occasion, we will present the Institute’s current competitive projects, supported by the Croatian Science Foundation (ARHZAG; TraveloguesDalmatia, as well as institutional projects funded through the European Union’s NextGenerationEU programme (URBARH; ISEM; DIGitART; FEMO; LoRegUm). We will also present the process of preparing the application for a new project, Right to Housing, led by Dr Tamara Bjažić Klarin, recipient of an ERC Consolidator Grant under the Horizon Europe programme. During the Open Days, visitors will have the opportunity to explore publications by the Institute, which will be available for purchase at special event prices.
