Research Stay in Ljubljana

Frano Petar Zovko stayed in Ljubljana from 10 to 12 February 2026 to conduct research of the archives of the Association of Architects of Slovenia (Zveza arhitektov Slovenije), held at the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia, as well as in the archives of the Museum of Architecture and Design (Muzej za arhitekturo in oblikovanje – MAO), under the guidance of curator Martina Malešič, PhD.
The research focused on housing construction in Slovenia and on international architectural exhibitions during the socialist period.
The research was carried out as part of the ERC project Housing.Yu – “Right to Housing”: the Production of Spaces of Everyday Life in Yugoslavia (1945-1991).

On 16 September 2026, the book Aleksander Laslo: Zagreb – Architecture, Architects, edited by Dr Tamara Bjažić Klarin and published by the Institute of Art History in 2025, was presented at the Zagreb Society of Architects.
