Research Visit to Split

Frano Petar Zovko stayed in Split, at the Cvito Fisković Centre, from 10 to 12 February 2026, examining materials held by the State Archives in Split. The research focused on the post-Second World War reconstruction of settlements in Dalmatia and individual housing construction in Split during the socialist period. It encompassed two archival fonds: HR-DAST-21, Regional People’s Committee of Dalmatia, and HR-DAST-119, Urban Planning Institute of Dalmatia – Split.
The research was carried out as part of the ERC project Housing.Yu – “Right to Housing”: the Production of Spaces of Everyday Life in Yugoslavia (1945-1991).
